Turn Around Time

Resin is a very time consuming process! It takes about 2-3 weeks to dry the blooms. At least another week to pour all the the layers. This all depends on my work load as well.  There is also the small chance that a flaw, like a speck of dust decides to land on the top coat. In this case that will add on another 3 days to a week. It also needs time to cure! My start to finish time frame is about 10-20 weeks. Believe me it's worth the wait!

Color change and bruising

During the drying process most flowers maintain their overall color but tend to darken slightly For instance, white flowers dry to a cream or ivory hue, while red flowers may deepen to a dark burgundy. Some flowers like Anthurium, Hypericum berries, and succulents will completely brown or shrivel.  If including any of these in your arrangement is crucial, we can sub out with artificial. There will be an extra small fee. Other flowers such as orchids, can appear slightly translucent due to their thin petals. Flowers may also show translucent spots once they are in the resin. This is due to the flower being bruised while being bumped by a happy bride or moved from one location to another.

Resin Yellows over time

ALL resins yellow a bit over time. This is just the nature of resin. The best way to slow down this process is to keep it out of the sunlight and away from heat.
